After one and a half day of involuntary rest, we got a great day. The slopes were newly-prepared and just perfect. Storm winds had settled and at lunch the sun came through.
The day offered both slops and lifts that I had not tried before. Plus I think I’ve found a favorite ski run, Portette. Do not, however, like Caron at all.
The only thing I like about Caron is the amazing view from the top at 3200 meters. From here you can see an incredible number of beautiful snow-capped peaks, including Mont Blanc.
The day ended with after ski at La Folie Douce. Lovely to sit out on a couch and soak up the sun. To sit there with good company, music and goodies in the glass did not make the pleasure less.
