Summing-up 
It got both late and many colorful cocktails last night. So that we started our trip later than planned was perhaps not surprising.
Taxi to Colombo, 4.2 mil, took an hour and a half longer than expected. So we had to take a later train. While waiting for the departure, we have tested the station restaurant and eat paper wrapped Rice & Curry with our hands.
We went by train and in the luxury train wagon to Kandy. In concrete terms that means predetermined seats, AC, wi-fi, Ice Age 4 and a wagon Buttler. The beautiful view along the hillside was the same for everyone who sat on the right side of the train.
Arriving in Kandy it is so dark so it is difficult to say anything about the city so far. Not more than that it is pretty deserted after 20 in the evening and seems to lack restaurants. The dinner was served at Kentucky Fried Chicken.
